PEDRO SIMOES DA SILVA It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our father on Tuesday, November 30, 1999 in Portugal at the age of 64 years. Pedro is survived by his wife Encarnacao; his son Victor Marc (Irene) and daughters, Alda (Ralph) Aiello and Isabel (Grant) Barker; and grandchildren, Stephan, Madison, Alissa, Sierra and Andrew. His brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Canada, Europe, Africa and Brazil will also remember him. Pedro worked as a cement finisher up until retirement. He was a gentle, caring man who enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Dad loved watching hockey and was a devoted Habs fan. Dad you will be deeply missed and we love you. Funeral was held in Freixianda, Portugal on December 1. A mass in honour of his memory will take place on Monday, December 13 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin Street.
